Job summary

Sun Tan City in Lebanon, TN is seeking a Salon Director in Training to drive store performance, elevate client service, and maintain operational excellence. You will supervise Tanning Consultants, model professionalism, and lead by example to achieve productivity goals.

This role requires management or sales experience in beauty or retail, strong leadership, coaching ability, and the stamina to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Management and/or sales experience required.
• Beauty industry and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment with multiple situations.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Strong leadership with coaching and mentoring skills.
• Team-building and delegation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue and expenses.
• Maintain staffing levels to ensure productivity and customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Ability to work a 5-day workweek with ~35–45 hours per week.
