Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking a Salon Director in Training to drive store performance, deliver excellent client service, and supervise tanning consultants. You will lead by example in sales and operations, maintaining a clean salon and achieving productivity goals.

Candidates should have retail management or leadership experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to coach and mentor a team. The role requires flexible scheduling, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Management and/or Sales experience required.
• Beauty Industry and/or Customer Service experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Ability to mentor and develop team members.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet sales expectations.
• Maintain a clean, professional salon environment.
• Set goals for team members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Generate sales reports and assist with inventory and salon functions.
• Help manage revenue and expenses while controlling labor costs.
• Work nights and weekends; 5-day workweek with 35–45 hours per week.
