Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking a Salon Director in Training to drive store performance, deliver outstanding client service, and maintain operational excellence. You will supervise Tanning Consultants, model leadership, and execute strategies to meet productivity goals.

The role requires management or sales experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work nights and weekends with a 5-day, 35–45 hour schedule depending on status.

Qualifications

• Management or sales experience required.
• Beauty industry and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet sales targets.
• Maintain a professional, clean salon environment.
• Set goals for team members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Generate sales reports, manage inventory, and support salon director functions.
• Assist with staffing to maximize productivity and control labor costs.
