Christie Salon in Bayside, NY, is seeking a seasoned salon manager to join the new ownership team and guide daily operations. You will lead staff, manage schedules, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain inventory and ensure a premium guest experience.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, marketing initiatives and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced luxury salon environment. On-site work four to five days a week, Sundays included, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years staff management experience including scheduling and supervision.
• Computer experience required (POS/office software).
• Strong presentation and communication skills are essential.

About the Role

This is an exciting time for a smart person with creative solutions; as we under new management and implementing the latest cloud-based software for salons.

Responsibilities

Be a trusted right-hand person the new owners can rely on to lead. Manage salon staff, oversee daily salon operations, maintain inventory, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and drive business growth through customer service and marketing. Set work schedules and participate in ongoing traiing to strenghten sales techniques and product knowledge. Maintain a professional front desk that engages high client flow with awareness, confidence and a personal touch. Help educate guests on products and services.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years staff management experience that includes ownership of work schedules, clients well-being along with staff supervision.
• Computer experence
• Professional presentation and communication skills are essential.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Days: 4-5 per week (Sunday required)
