Joon Drop Salon on the Lower East Side is seeking a friendly Salon Assistant to support stylists and front-of-house tasks. This boutique shop emphasizes fine hair and extensions and is growing quickly, with weekly training and a commitment to promoting from within.

Ideal candidates will be reliable, able to greet clients warmly, handle retail transactions, and use salon software for appointments. Tuesday and Saturday availability is required to join our energetic team.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in a salon or retail setting.
• Ability to handle transactions and operate cash/register.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced boutique salon.
• Willingness to work Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Job Description

We're a boutique salon on the Lower East Side specializing in fine hair and extensions and we are growing fast!

Listed in NY Mag as a top 10 salon in NYC for two years running, we're looking for a great multitasker with an excellent attitude to act as an extra set of hands. Weekly training and competitive pay offered, and when we promote we promote from within. Full or part time available. Applicants should submit their Instagram handle and be able to work Tuesdays and Saturdays.
