Job summary

PetSmart’s Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers professional grooming services and supports a high-performing team, upholding the company’s vision, mission, values, and strategy focused on pets and their parents.

The role develops bathers and new stylists through the grooming development program, ensuring quality standards and compassionate care for pets, while driving salon growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years grooming experience; may be asked to complete a technical exam.
• Full time availability required, flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Proficiency with use of tools, equipment and products to perform technical work safely.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the associate experience and supports associate development.
• Develops new and existing associates through certification in bathers and/or stylists.
• Identifies internal candidates to attend academy training for stylists.
• Delegates and validates completion of daily salon tasks.
• Addresses and administers associate complaints and grievances.
• Drives salon sales and promotes relevant promotions.
