Job summary

PetSmart’s Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) is responsible for providing exceptional service to pet parents and supporting a high performing team while upholding the company’s vision, mission, values, and strategy.

This role will deliver professional quality services with the upmost focus on quality and care of pets, and will support the development of bathers and new stylists through the grooming program.

Qualifications

• 2+ years grooming experience.
• Full time availability; evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficient with grooming tools, equipment and products for safe work.
• Proficient in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure; highly organized with attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support salon team development and coaching.
• Develop new and existing associates through bathing and styling certification.
• Oversee salon operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Deliver full menu of grooming services and related procedures.
• Promote salon services to grow sales and productivity.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and humane care for pets.
