Madison Reed is seeking a General Manager - Licensed Cosmetologist in Ashburn, VA to lead a Hair Color Bar with a focus on guest experience, team development and business growth.

The role requires managing weekend and peak times, coaching a team of Colorists and support staff, and delivering top-tier service while achieving sales and operational targets. Competitive base salary with opportunities for bonuses is offered.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state where applying.
• 2+ years of salon and retail experience.
• 2+ years of operational management experience.
• 2+ years supervising other team members and participating in hiring, training and scheduling.
• Strong level of technical proficiency as a colorist.
• Proven track record of exceeding key operational and performance metrics.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Hair Color Bar team.
• Drive guest satisfaction and sales by modeling service and sales behaviors.
• Ensure staffing and resources align with operations, SOPs, bookings, services and memberships.
• Demonstrate mastery of Madison Reed services, stepping in as needed behind the chair.
• Support district with training or on-site visits as required.
• Achieve monthly sales goals across retail, services and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security.
