Entry level sales position supporting DIY business and achieving sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge, and ability to source parts from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers. Position can be part time or full time. Fleet safety certification preferred.

Primary Responsibilities (Salesperson)

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.

Secondary Responsibilities (Salesperson)

• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facings, dusting, parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed

Physical Demands

Jobs require walking or standing, lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vision and ability to handle mechanical parts, high places, chemicals, electrical shock, explosives, vibration, and moderate noise are required.

Work Environment

Jobs could be indoors or outdoors with weather exposure while installing batteries and wiper blades. Must handle moving mechanical parts, high places, chemicals, electrical shock and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.

Compensation Range

13.15 USD PER HOUR - 13.98 USD PER HOUR
