Job Description

Our sales professionals are responsible for selling vehicles and meeting dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards. This position involves four main areas: personal work habits, prospecting, selling, and follow-up.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ensure customer satisfaction and dedicate efforts to guarantee it.
2. Identify each customer's vehicle needs through questions and attentive listening.
3. Demonstrate vehicles, including test drives.
4. Deliver vehicles to customers, explaining features, warranty, and paperwork to foster loyalty.
5. Set personal income goals aligned with dealership standards and develop strategies to achieve them.
6. Report to the Vehicle Sales Manager on objectives, activities, reviews, and analyses.
7. Stay informed about inventory, features, accessories, and their benefits to customers.
8. Coordinate with the service department and body shop to ensure timely reconditioning of vehicles.
9. Participate in sales meetings and training sessions offered by the dealership and manufacturer.
10. Maintain a prospect development system.
11. Maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business.
12. Review daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly actions to optimize time utilization and planning.
13. Stay updated on automobile terminology and technological advancements.
14. Understand equity, depreciation, and be able to explain these concepts to customers.
15. Know and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws governing retail auto sales.
16. Introduce customers to the service department to highlight quality and efficiency.
17. Follow all safety policies and report accidents immediately.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and information.
• Valid in-state driver’s license.
• Professional appearance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to meet sales quotas according to dealership standards.
• Authorization to work in the USA.
• Ability to perform duties safely.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug testing, credit report, and valid driver's license.
