Plan marketing and sales efforts to maximize the achievement of the business goals.Essential DutiesOverviewIdentifies and builds relationships with people who have responsibility for contracting or referring fire/water restoration, mold remediation, and/or carpet cleaning services in the insurance industry and property management areas.Grows the business through nurturing current business relationships and initiating new relationships.Assesses customer satisfaction and resolves any issues to hopefully gain business the next time services are needed.Implements and analyzes responses to marketing plans for potential business opportunities.Attends industry trade shows and promotes business services.Assists with promotion and setups for training sessions and continuing education classes.Sells commercial fire and water jobs along with local manager.Daily Responsibilities:Follows marketing route – visits all agents/property management personnel/other contacts on a routine basis.Enters detailed notes regarding the details of your visits into Restore 365:Names of all the office staffNames of those that handle claims in the officeClaims expectationsCompletes thank-you or follow-up notes to all contacts made during a daySends thank-you notes to all contacts that refer our servicesUpdate agents when we have completed work for one of their clientsWeekly Responsibilities:Prepares weekly summary of contacts made with short statement regarding the details of the visitPrepares action plan for the next weekMakes any follow-up phone calls and sets up meetings for missed contactsParticipates in weekly marketing conference call with sales management teamQuarterly Responsibilities:Review/Update contact list – adds new potential work sourcesReviews email lists for changes and updates to names and addressesReviews return on marketing activities and makes sure that all time spent is having a positive returnReview vertical markets to see if there is a specific market we are not getting work from (Financial, Education, Property Management, Senior Living, Healthcare, Municipalities, Places of Worship, Manufacturing)Miscellaneous Responsibilities:Attend Industry trade shows, conferences, golf outingsGet involved in local chambersAssist with continuing education classesDuring Minicat or CAT Events – help with resource/supply and coordinating equipment (if needed)Utilize LinkedIn to build professional networkExcellent Customer ServiceMeets and exceeds customer expectations and completes projects on time.Answers customer questions and addresses concerns.Escalates unresolved customer issues/problems to Management for resolution.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesSales and marketing experience in the insurance, property management, or service industry.Knowledge of the fire/water restoration, mold remediation, and cleaning industry.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Superior customer service skills.Dependable and flexible to meet insurance agents’ and customers’ needs.Commitment to personal and professional development.Valid driver’s license.Incumbent must be prepared to:Move up to 20 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.Sitting for long periods of time while using office equipment such as computers, phones etc.Fingering and Repetitive motions; such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching and typing during your normal working environment.Express or exchange ideas with others quickly, accurately, and receive and act on detailed information.Close visual acuity to perform detail-oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
