Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time on-site Salesperson role based in Houston, TX. The Salesperson will focus on guiding clients through the buying, selling, and leasing process for residential and commercial properties, including conducting property showings, listing presentations, and market consultations. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating and nurturing leads, building relationships through in-person and phone outreach, hosting open houses, and following up consistently to convert prospects into clients. The role includes preparing and reviewing contracts, coordinating with lenders, inspectors, and other real estate professionals, and ensuring timely, accurate documentation throughout each transaction. The Salesperson is also expected to stay informed about local market trends, participate in team meetings and trainings, and support a collaborative, service-oriented office culture.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills, with the ability to convert leads into closed transactions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities, including active listening and clear, professional presentation skills.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in handling contracts, documentation, and follow-up activities.
- Comfort with prospecting, networking, and building long-term relationships through in-person events, phone calls, and community engagement.
- Ability to learn and use real estate technology tools (CRM systems, MLS platforms, digital marketing tools) to manage contacts and listings.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical conduct in all client interactions.
- Willingness to work on-site in Houston, TX, with flexibility to attend evening and weekend events as needed.
- Active real estate license in Texas (or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe); prior real estate or sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation to travel to properties, client meetings, and community events.
