Job summary

Mount Kemble Search Group seeks a Sales Consultant in Chardon, OH. This remote-flexible, full-time role supports customers across Northeast OH with occasional travel to Erie, PA. Earn uncapped commissions with most first-year earnings around $85,000 and six-figure potential.

You will conduct in-home consultations, prepare estimates, secure contracts and financing approvals, and document sales activity with timely follow-ups.

Sales Consultant - Chardon OH (remote flexible/full time)

This is a unique opportunity to join a regional remodeler that serves customers across Northeast OH, Northwestern PA, and Southwestern NY. They specialize in remodeling outdoor living spaces, kitchens and baths, and basement finishing and waterproofing. The Sales Consultant handles business around Chardon, OH and handles appointments within the Northeast OH area. The schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday and evening appointments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations, provide estimates, and manage contract signings and customer financing approvals
• Partner to deliver creative, achievable solutions for customers
• Attend pre-construction meetings and final walkthroughs to capture upsell and referral opportunities
• Maintain accurate customer appointments and document sales records with a 24-hour turnaround

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer facing sales experience
• Experience with a sales system or interest in learning how to use one
• Sales experience and confidence closing sales/deals
• Strong listening and follow-up skills and stay calm under pressure
• Customer relationship management software and basic computer tools
• Experience in kitchen/bath design, cabinetry, finish carpentry, or home remodeling is a plus

Requirements

• 3+ years of residential, in-home or customer-facing sales experience
• High school or equivalent education
• Experience using customer data tracking software is helpful
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to commute to appointments within northeast OH
• Additional travel to Chardon OH (as needed) to Erie, PA (monthly)
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Uncapped commission with (most people make ~$85,000 in year 1 and can get into 6 figures)
• 40 hours PTO annually + 10 paid holidays + 1 paid birthday day off
