Job summary

Intone Inc. seeks a Salesforce Tech Lead for a 6-month contract, remote in EST or CST.

You will lead a team of 3–4 developers, drive enterprise Health Cloud and Service Cloud implementations, and collaborate with Architecture, Product, Security, and Data teams to align with HIPAA security and best practices. The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership in healthcare, overseeing end-to-end delivery, integrations, and design patterns.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading enterprise Salesforce implementations.
• Health Cloud expertise.
• Salesforce PD1 certification.
• 5+ years Salesforce Developer/Admin experience with CRM, Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, Workflows, Dashboards, AppExchange.
• 8+ years programming experience: Apex, Java, JavaScript.
• Lightning Web Component development experience.
• 5+ years with tools: Force.com IDE, Data Loader, ANT.
• Experience building AI agents in Agentforce.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• 5+ years in health insurance/healthcare domain.
• Proven leadership with teams; quantify people led.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Health Cloud and Service Cloud solutions for claims workflow.
• Integrate with REST, Bulk, FHIR APIs and event streams (Kafka/MQ).
• Lead delivery: grooming, design, code reviews, CI/CD, performance tuning.
• Manage performance and coordinate with global, distributed teams.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery with quality outcomes.
• Govern HIPAA/PHI security, auditability, and role modeling.

Job description

We are seeking a Salesforce Tech Lead for a 6-month contract position, remote (EST or CST time zones). This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, managing a team of 3–4 Salesforce developers while driving enterprise implementations in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Health Cloud and Service Cloud solutions for claims inventory workflow optimization
• Integrate with upstream systems via REST, Bulk, and FHIR APIs and event streams (Kafka/MQ)
• Lead delivery activities including story grooming, solution design, code reviews, performance tuning, and CI/CD pipeline management
• Manage team performance and coordinate with global, distributed teams (onshore and offshore)
• Oversee project delivery end to end, ensuring timely and quality outcomes
• Govern compliance frameworks including HIPAA/PHI security, auditability, and role and permission modeling
• Mentor and develop team members while collaborating with Architecture, Product, Security, and Data teams to validate solutions
• Suggest industry design patterns and develop innovative solutions aligned with best practices

Qualifications

• Required
  • 8+ years of Salesforce experience leading enterprise implementations
  • Health Cloud expertise
  • Salesforce Platform Developer 1 (PD1) Certification
  • 5+ years of Salesforce Developer/Admin experience with Salesforce CRM, Apex Language, Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, SOQL, Visual Force Pages, Workflow and Approvals, Dashboards, Custom Objects, Package Installations, Email Templates, Formulas, Validation Rules, and AppExchange
  • 8+ years of experience with programming languages: Apex, Core Java, and JavaScript
  • Salesforce Lightning Web Component development experience
  • 5+ years of experience with tools: Force.com IDE, Apex Data Loader, and ANT
  • Experience building AI agents in Agentforce
  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • 5+ years of background in health insurance/healthcare (payer/provider, claims intake/routing)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing development teams; resume must include the number of people led in each role and specific lead responsibilities
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
