Job summary

Codeworks, an LRS company, seeks a Salesforce Tableau Analytics Specialist to turn data into actionable insights and modernize reporting across Salesforce, Tableau Cloud, Data Cloud, and Tableau CRM.

This contract role focuses on governance, semantic models, KPIs, and AI-ready data structures, with responsibilities spanning dashboards, data prep, and cross-system integration.

Remote, full-time hourly contract with pay range $75-$125 per hour; 5+ years of BI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing analytics, reporting, BI, or data visualization solutions.
• Strong experience with Salesforce Reports and Dashboards, including cross-filters and joined reports.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Experience building metrics, calculations, and KPI-driven reporting solutions.
• Strong experience developing dashboards within Tableau Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau CRM, including semantic layers and dashboards.
• Experience using Tableau Prep for data preparation and quality improvements.
• Strong SQL and/or SAQL experience.
• Experience integrating data from multiple business systems.
• Knowledge of data governance and reporting best practices.

Job Description

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Salesforce Tableau Analytics Specialist who is passionate about turning data into actionable insights and helping organizations build a scalable, trusted analytics foundation for a contract position. This role offers the opportunity to modernize reporting and analytics capabilities across Salesforce, Tableau Cloud, Data Cloud, and Tableau CRM while helping establish the governance and semantic models needed to support future AI-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Salesforce reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions that support the full customer lifecycle, including Leads, Opportunities, Orders, Assets, and related business processes.
• Build new Tableau Cloud dashboards and optimize existing reporting solutions for performance, usability, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain Tableau CRM (Next) dashboards, calculations, metrics, semantic models, and analytical assets.
• Utilize Tableau Prep to cleanse, transform, blend, and prepare data from multiple Salesforce-ingested sources.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define meaningful KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements.
• Create unified analytical views by integrating Salesforce, ERP, CPQ, product, usage, and other enterprise data sources.
• Develop reusable calculations, metric definitions, and semantic-layer components that promote consistency across reporting platforms.
• Monitor data quality, identify inconsistencies, and implement solutions that improve trust in reporting and analytics.
• Support data governance initiatives, including business definitions, data glossaries, and reporting standards.
• Help prepare data structures, metrics, and analytics platforms for future AI, predictive analytics, and automated recommendation capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize work, validate business requirements, and ensure reporting solutions align with organizational objectives.
• Provide guidance on analytics architecture, best practices, and reporting governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or data visualization solutions.
• Strong experience with Salesforce Reports and Dashboards, including report types, cross-filters, joined reports, and custom reporting solutions.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, custom objects, and object relationships.
• Experience building metrics, calculations, and KPI-driven reporting solutions.
• Strong experience developing dashboards and visualizations within Tableau Cloud.
• Hands‑on experience with Tableau CRM (Next), including semantic layers, metrics, calculations, datasets, and dashboards.
• Experience using Tableau Prep for data preparation, transformation, blending, and data quality improvement.
• Strong SQL and/or SAQL experience.
• Experience integrating and analyzing data from multiple business systems and data sources.
• Experience defining business metrics and creating reusable analytical models.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality monitoring, and reporting best practices.
• Experience supporting Sales Operations, Customer Success, Service, Product, or related business functions.
• Familiarity with semantic modeling and AI‑ready data structures.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to translate business questions into scalable analytical solutions that drive decision‑making.

The base range for this contract position is $75.00 - $125.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job‑related factors.
