Job summary

The Opus Group is seeking a Business Applications Engineer to expand the Salesforce-focused team. Remote, full-time, with travel<10%.

The role partners with internal tech and external partners to deliver scalable, governed enterprise solutions across a growing global portfolio. Ideal candidates have 2–4+ years in Salesforce within an enterprise setting, strong requirements gathering skills, and the ability to communicate across technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years hands-on Salesforce experience in an enterprise environment.
• Experience configuring and enhancing Salesforce solutions including declarative automation, data modeling, security controls, and managed packages.
• Conceptual understanding of Salesforce tech stack (Apex, Lightning Web Components).
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them to delivery tasks.
• Direct involvement with external vendors, consultants, or partners.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions (Sales, Service, Professional Services Clouds) and related apps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to turn needs into actionable delivery tasks.
• Coordinate with external partners to align approach with governance.
• Support data mapping and solution alignment across enterprise applications.
• Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies early and communicate clearly.
• Apply architecture, security, integrations, and release readiness best practices.
• Participate in business and technical sessions and document decisions and processes.
• Assist with testing, deployment, issue triage, and post-launch stabilization.
