Job summary

MSRcosmos LLC is seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to partner with business stakeholders, IT and Salesforce teams to analyze needs and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience gathering and documenting requirements, translating business processes into functional specifications, supporting Salesforce configuration and testing, and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• At least 2 years hands-on Salesforce experience.
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud/Service Cloud.
• Proficiency translating requirements to functional specs.
• Experience with Salesforce configuration, testing, workflows, and dashboards.
• Familiar with Agile, Scrum or SAFe, and Jira/Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to gather, analyze, and document Salesforce requirements.
• Translate requirements into detailed functional specifications for developers and admins.
• Act as liaison between stakeholders and IT for successful delivery.
• Conduct gap analyses and recommend process improvements using Salesforce.
• Support Salesforce configuration, testing, and enhancements (objects, workflows, reports, dashboards).
• Assist with projects and releases ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business needs.
• Develop and maintain process flows, data maps, and project documentation.
• Support UAT, test planning, and defect validation for Salesforce solutions.
• Deliver user training and assist with adoption and change management.
• Identify automation opportunities with cross-functional teams.
• Keep up-to-date with Salesforce capabilities and best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
• Track requirements, user stories, defects using JIRA or Azure DevOps.
