Job summary

WGU is seeking a Software Engineer II to help build scalable software solutions that connect Salesforce with the broader technology ecosystem. You will contribute across the software development lifecycle, turning requirements into thoughtful designs and reliable code while partnering with engineers, Operations, and other stakeholders.

You’ll bring a strong foundation in software engineering and experience with Apex, Java, JavaScript, REST, databases, and application integrations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or related field.
3+ years of experience developing web-based applications and web services using Java, REST, and other web technologies.
2+ years of experience with Java (Spring, Apex), JavaScript (Node.js, React, Angular).
Experience interfacing with databases and integrating third party products with existing infrastructure.
Understanding of software development processes including planning, measurement, coding, testing, reuse, tools, and security.

Responsibilities

Contribute as a member of the software engineering team, taking ownership of Salesforce and software development work.
Design, develop, test, implement, and support software solutions within scope, on time and budget.
