Job summary

CIS TECHNOLOGIES INC is seeking an experienced Salesforce QA Analyst to join our team in a fast-paced deployment environment. The role focuses on rigorous hands-on testing of Salesforce applications, validating complex business workflows, and ensuring data accuracy across systems.

You will design and execute test plans, create test data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum setting. Strong SQL skills and experience with test automation are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of QA or software testing experience.
• Salesforce application testing experience required.
• Hands-on testing with Salesforce, SQL, and data validation.
• Experience with test automation and test data management.
• Familiarity with Atlassian toolset (Jira / Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, system, acceptance, regression, and non-functional testing.
• Conduct hands-on Salesforce application testing and validate complex business workflows.
• Manage test data provisioning, data setup, data validation, and cleanup.
• Write SQL queries to validate Oracle database components, data flows, and expected results.
• Test database changes, including views, procedures, functions, data conversions, and migration programs.
• Perform expected-versus-actual data comparisons across databases, files, message streams, and user interfaces.
• Monitor test progress, report defects, evaluate exit criteria, and support test closure.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, business users, and leadership in an Agile Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle databases and SQL queries.
• Experience with test data management and test automation.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and the Atlassian toolset.
• Experience with Agile Scrum and TDD/BDD practices.
• Scripting experience in applicable programming languages.
• Knowledge of user‑centered design and usability testing.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with large, cross‑functional teams and multiple business stakeholders.
