Job summary

Horizontal Talent is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Salesforce initiatives end-to-end in a fast-paced environment. You will partner with stakeholders across the organization to shape requirements, define scope, and drive successful outcomes.

The role requires extensive PM experience with Salesforce, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and a track record in both Agile and Waterfall delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years project management experience, including at least 5 years supporting Salesforce projects.
• Deep Salesforce ecosystem knowledge including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methods.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability with a track record of managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with Jira, Asana, or MS Project for project tracking.
• Experience supporting vendor relationships and contract coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead Salesforce-related projects from planning through implementation and closure.
• Work with partners to define scope, timelines, and expected outcomes.
• Coordinate across Salesforce admins, developers, architects, and external partners.
• Create and manage project plans with timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Oversee change requests and impact analysis.
• Ensure alignment with Salesforce best practices, governance, and security standards.
• Provide executive-ready status updates and reporting.
• Support training and stakeholder adoption efforts.
• Serve as escalation point for project issues and resolutions.
• Assist with post-launch support and release cycles.
• Partner with Sales Ops, Customer Success, and Finance on ARR, MRR, churn, NRR, renewals.
• Support contract amendments like add-ons, upsells, downgrades, or early renewals.
