Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Salesforce Ownership & Strategy: Lead end-to-end Salesforce platform management, including roadmap development, change management, and system optimization.
- Act as the primary liaison for Salesforce initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with business needs.
- Champion user experience and adoption by designing intuitive, scalable solutions and leading training programs.
Administration & Configuration:
- Manage all aspects of Salesforce user and license administration—roles, permissions, profiles, sharing rules, and org-wide defaults.
- Implement advanced configuration using Flow, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, approval processes, and custom settings.
- Maintain platform health through routine security reviews, health checks, release updates, and sandbox management.
Support, Training & Documentation:
- Handle user support tickets and proactively monitor adoption trends.
- Design and deliver onboarding and ongoing training for users and stakeholders.
- Maintain thorough documentation of platform processes, customizations, and integrations.
Data & Integration Management:
- Oversee data quality, governance, and de-duplication using native tools and external apps.
- Manage Salesforce integrations with third-party tools such as Conga, DocuSign, Marketing Cloud (Pardot), and potentially ERP platforms like Epicor.
- Evaluate AppExchange applications for functionality and business impact.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience, ideally with Sales Cloud. Experience with Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or ERP integrations is a strong plus.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required; advanced certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant) are a plus.
- Adept at translating complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions, familiar with BPM and data architecture best practices.
- Comfortable operating as a solo admin with support from external consultants, Trailhead, and Salesforce communities.
- Skilled in Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel) and familiar with integration platforms (e.g., Jitterbit, Scribe, Informatica). Apex coding knowledge is a bonus but not required.
- Passionate about continuous learning, staying current with Salesforce releases, and active within the Salesforce community.
