POSITION SUMMARY
Conventus is seeking an experienced Salesforce Product Owner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between Servicing business stakeholders and the Salesforce development team. This role is responsible for translating business needs into actionable requirements, prioritizing work, and ensuring high-quality delivery of Salesforce solutions. This role also partners across integrated business systems and applications that support the end-to-end loan lifecycle.
This role is embedded with the Servicing organization in West Palm Beach and reports into the CRM & Business Systems team, partnering closely with Servicing leadership on priorities and roadmap. This individual will also provide secondary support coverage and escalation for Salesforce related issues, ensuring continuity of service while helping drive long-term improvements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Servicing organization on all Salesforce and connected-system needs
- Partner with stakeholders to understand goals, challenges, and priorities
- Facilitate discussions to clarify requirements and define desired outcomes
- Build trusted working relationships with Servicing leadership, operations managers, and front-line users through regular on-site presence
- Represent Servicing priorities in cross-domain planning with the Origination and shared-platform Product Owners
Backlog & Prioritization
- Own and manage the Servicing product backlog in Jira
- Prioritize work based on business value, urgency, and strategic alignment
- Collaborate with the Director, CRM & Business Systems and Servicing leadership to maintain a clear and actionable roadmap
- Balance Servicing-specific requests against shared platform priorities and enterprise roadmap commitments
Requirements & Solution Design
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics
- Design Salesforce solutions using declarative capabilities (flows, fields, page layouts, etc.) while considering impacts across integrated systems and upstream/downstream processes
- Partner with technical resources on complex solutions
- Document servicing process flows and data requirements, including regulatory, investor, and audit considerations
Delivery & Execution
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and team ceremonies
- Ensure requirements are well-defined and ready for development
- Coordinate with stakeholders and technical resources to ensure alignment across Salesforce and integrated business systems
- Act as the primary point of contact for developers during execution
Testing & Release Management
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts with business stakeholders
- Validate that delivered functionality meets business requirements
- Support release planning, communication, and training
- Serve as the on-site business escalation point for Servicing users experiencing Salesforce or connected-system issues
- Act as an escalation point for complex, high-priority, or ambiguous cases requiring business context
- Partner with the administrators providing primary support to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Identify recurring support trends and translate them into backlog items for long-term resolution
- Escalated issues are resolved through the platform team’s governed change and release process; this role does not perform production configuration outside of that process
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system usage
- Monitor adoption and effectiveness of Salesforce solutions
- Drive iterative enhancements based on feedback and data
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience working with Salesforce in an Administrator, Business Analyst, or Product role
- Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities and best practices, and how Salesforce integrates with other business systems
- Experience working in Agile environments and managing backlogs in Jira
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Comfort operating independently in a satellite office while remaining aligned to a centrally governed platform and shared change-control process
- Salesforce Administrator Certification, or willingness to obtain certification within six months of hire
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Business Analyst, or Platform App Builder certification
- Hands-on experience with loan servicing operations — boarding, payments, escrow, payoffs, default and collections, or investor reporting
- Experience in lending, financial services, or fintech
- Familiarity with integrations between Salesforce and external systems (e.g., LMS, subservicer and payment platforms, LOS)
