True to the Latin origin of the company’s name, “to bring together,” CHC’s existence and strength is anchored to a business model that removes unnecessary economic intermediates so that it can provide superior pricing and service to its clients. Our competitive edge in executing our mission is assembling, nurturing, and developing a collaborative group of talented individuals. To that end, diversity of experiences, perspectives, skills, and cultures is core to our mission and team.

POSITION

Required 4 days per week in the office (Mon-Thu). Please do not apply if this does not align with you.

Conventus is seeking an experienced Associate, Data & Product to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work hands‑on with reporting automation, data mapping and lineage, and data documentation, supporting business decision‑making across our Data & Technology team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Requirements Gathering: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand reporting needs, document business requirements, and translate them into data models or dashboard specifications.
  • Data Mapping & Lineage: Document data flows across systems, define source-to-target mappings, and maintain lineage artifacts.
  • Data Quality Checks: Design and implement automated validation rules to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of business-critical data.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Respond to business questions from cross‑functional teams by querying data, identifying trends, and summarizing findings in clear, actionable formats.
  • Dashboarding & Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards in Sigma to support analytics, KPIs, and operational reporting.
  • Process Automation: Identify and automate repetitive data tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Documentation: Maintain data dictionaries, metric definitions, and reporting documentation to ensure consistent understanding of data across the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing.
  • Proven problem‑solving skills and analytical mindset.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Prior experience in lending technology, mortgage, or financial services is required.
Preferred
  • Experience building and maintaining reports and dashboards in Sigma, Looker, Power BI, or Tableau for cross‑functional business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business questions into clearly defined data requirements and present findings to non‑technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms and an understanding of how CRM data supports cross‑functional operations reporting.
  • Experience documenting business processes, writing functional requirements, or maintaining data dictionaries and operational runbooks.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards relevant to financial services (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, FCRA).
What You Will Gain
  • Deep familiarity with lending data across the full loan lifecycle and how that data flows across cross‑functional teams and informs business decisions at every stage.
  • Ownership of reporting that real stakeholders rely on, with visibility into how your work influences decisions across cross‑functional teams and executive leadership.
  • Experience working at the intersection of business and technology, sharpening both your analytical instincts and your ability to communicate data to non‑technical audiences.
  • Mentorship and a clear growth path toward senior analyst, data lead, or analytics management roles.
