Northern Trust is seeking a Salesforce Lead Developer to drive the design, development, and integration of scalable Salesforce solutions for the Client Onboarding & Enrollments portfolio. You will mentor developers, promote best practices, and ensure secure, high‑performing implementations across integrations and enterprise platforms.

The role focuses on hands‑on coding with Apex, LWC, REST APIs, and Flow, while guiding architecture and governance to align with enterprise standards and risk

Qualifications

• Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs, web services, event‑driven integrations, and asynchronous processing solutions.
• Champion automated CI/CD, source control, testing, release management, and DevOps practices for Salesforce development.
• Establish and enforce development standards for Apex, LWC, integrations, automation, and configuration.
• Promote clean-code principles, modular patterns, and maintainability across Salesforce projects.
• Support regulatory and governance requirements related to enterprise Salesforce deployments.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions.
• Provide hands‑on development using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flow, triggers, asynchronous processing, and APIs.
• Design reusable, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce components and services.
• Lead code reviews and technical design reviews and promote Salesforce development best practices.
• Ensure solutions balance declarative configuration and custom development with performance considerations.
