Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Salesforce Developer in the Chicago area to implement Salesforce solutions with solution architects and business analysts. You will write Apex, configure components, manage integrations, and create reports and dashboards within Salesforce CRM.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Apex triggers and classes, web services, and Visualforce pages.
• 3+ years experience integrating Salesforce with external applications using SOA/ESB.
• 3+ years experience in data architecture and data migration.
• 3+ years experience in formulas and workflow rules to enforce processes.
• 3+ years web-services experience using Java/J2EE, XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, WSDL.
• Experience with Agile methodology and Jira.
• Experience using Salesforce version control, CI, build automation, and metadata tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Transform requirements into Salesforce solutions.
• Daily administration and support of Salesforce CRM including user setup, roles, security, and layout customizations.
• Develop and customize triggers, objects, workflows, Visualforce pages, and Apex code.
• Develop reports and dashboards within Salesforce CRM.
• Collaborate with leads, architects, and developers to deliver project milestones.
• Balance and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.
• Serve as a Salesforce expert resource to others.
• Document technical solutions.
• Perform unit and system testing of code and integrations.
