Job summary

Vichara Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Salesforce Platform Owner to lead the delivery and strategy for our Salesforce initiatives in the Washington, D.C. area.

You will work across business and technology teams to refine backlogs, design enhancements, and ensure value delivery from Salesforce capabilities. The role requires experience guiding platform-wide initiatives, owning Salesforce roadmaps, and collaborating with development and support teams to minimize friction for users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Concentration in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Finance is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Salesforce is required.
• Experience interfacing across business and technology is required.
• Experience as a platform owner or product owner for Salesforce projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Refine prioritized backlog items with the Salesforce delivery team.
• Collaborate with Salesforce development on design of enhancements and fixes.
• Review implemented capabilities to ensure value is delivered.
• Identify and prioritize Salesforce needs with business and technology stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce roadmap and review quarterly with stakeholders.
• Refine support processes with Salesforce Support to reduce friction for business users.
• Identify persistent support requests that could be mitigated by platform enhancements.

Primary Responsibilities:
Value Stream Delivery

• Work with Salesforce delivery team to refine prioritized backlog items.


• Work with Salesforce development team on design of enhancements and bug fixes.


• Review implemented capabilities to ensure value is delivered as expected.


• Work with business and technology stakeholders of the Salesforce platform to identify and prioritize needs.


• Develop and maintain Salesforce roadmap, and review and update with stakeholders quarterly.


• Work with Salesforce Support team to refine support processes for the platform in order to reduce friction with business users.


• Work with Salesforce Support team to identify persistent support requests/incidents that could be mitigated by enhancements to the platform.

Qualifications

Education & Certificates

• Bachelor's Degree, required.


• Concentration in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Finance, preferred

Professional Experience

• Minimum 7 years of overall relevant experience, required.


• Knowledge and experience with Salesforce, required.


• Experience interfacing across business and technology, required.


• Experience as a platform owner or product owner for strategic projects that involve Salesforce development teams, required.
