Job summary

City National Bank seeks a Salesforce Technical Architect Team Lead to serve as the senior technical authority for the Bank's Salesforce platform, owning architecture, code quality, and engineering practices. The role leads a team of developers, governs ADRs, and guides vendor work while aligning with enterprise standards and security requirements.

Qualifications

8-10 years hands-on software engineering experience on Salesforce Platform in pro code capacity.
5-7 years experience as technical lead or architect for a Salesforce org of comparable scale.
Experience mentoring a team of software developers.
Hands-on Salesforce DevOps: DX, Git branching, CI/CD pipelines, static analysis, automated tests.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical design authority for Salesforce platform across multiple clouds, ensuring ADRs and standards are followed.
Lead pro code development and establish coding standards, patterns, and reusable frameworks.
Own and improve Salesforce DevOps practices including CI/CD and environment lifecycle management.
Define release management, deployment automation, rollback procedures, and governance controls.
Review designs and code from internal and vendor work to meet standards and security requirements.
Design and govern Salesforce integration architecture with API-led and event-driven patterns.
Collaborate with admins on data model, sharing, and security alignment with policy.
Monitor performance and maintain a debt remediation roadmap for the platform.
