Compensation Range: $75 - 88 per hour

Cella is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Journey & Automation Specialist to contribute to a high-priority project. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the critical task of building, maintaining, and optimizing multi-step customer journeys, sophisticated automations, and seamless integrations within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain complex, multi-step customer journeys utilizing Journey Builder, incorporating triggers, decision splits, and weight conditions.
• Develop, implement, and manage automations using Automation Studio, including data imports, exports, and scheduling processes.
• Create and manage dynamic email content leveraging HTML, CSS, AMPscript, SQL, SSJS, and JavaScript, ensuring seamless integration with website backend systems.
• Establish and maintain API integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other systems.
• Work extensively with data extensions and custom data models to ensure accurate audience segmentation and personalized communication.
• Conduct thorough quality assurance (QA), troubleshoot issues, and fine-tune journeys and automations for optimal performance and accuracy.
• Effectively present and articulate technical designs and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, the marketing team (to define audiences and release triggers), and the internal Salesforce specialist.
• Provide technical expertise and ownership in the execution of client-facing deliverables.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of proven experience managing complex, multi-step customer journey projects within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Deep proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and API integrations.
• Strong expertise in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with scripting languages like AMPscript, SQL, and SSJS.
• Demonstrated experience working with data extensions, custom data models, and dynamic content.
• Exceptional ability to QA, troubleshoot, and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud configurations for performance and accuracy.
• Excellent client-facing skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to technical execution.
