Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist to architect and run data-driven journeys, emails, and SMS campaigns from Scottsdale, AZ. The role focuses on SQL-based segmentation, dynamic content with AMPscript/SSJS, and hands-on management of journeys and campaigns.

You will collaborate with the Data and Marketing teams, build data extensions, and deliver testing reports to optimize engagement. Onsite in Scottsdale with strong reporting and analytics expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio).
• Proficiency in SQL for segmentation and querying.
• Experience writing AMPscript and SSJS for dynamic content.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, CS, Data Analytics or related field (or equivalent).
• Strong communication, organization and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage member journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder.
• Build and maintain data extensions based on segmentation strategies and SQL queries.
• Build emails with dynamic content to personalize messaging using AMPscript.
• Manage list uploads, testing, and deployment of emails and SMS messages.
• Create forms and landing pages using HTML as needed.
• Collaborate with Data Team to integrate Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and other systems.
• Develop journey, campaign and A/B testing reports to guide improvements.
• Oversee deliverability monitoring and data hygiene.
• Partner with Data, Marketing, IT, Product, Services, and Account Management Teams on data flows.

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist is responsible for architecting and executing the backbone of our digital marketing efforts. This role designs and manages data-driven, automated journeys to ensure the right messages reach the right members at the right time, driving engagement and influencing behavior across channels.

This opportunity is an onsite role located in Scottsdale, AZ.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and manage member journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder, utilizing workflow automations and SQL as necessary
• Build and maintain data extensions based on advanced segmentation strategies and SQL queries
• Build emails with dynamic content to personalize messaging, utilizing AMPscript where necessary
• Manage list uploads, conduct testing, and deploy emails and SMS messages
• Create forms and associated landing pages utilizing HTML as necessary
• Collaborate with the Data Team to integrate Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and other systems
• Develop journey, campaign and A/B testing reports to guide continuous improvement and decision making
• Oversee deliverability monitoring and marketing data hygiene
• Partner with members of the Data, Marketing, IT, Product, Services, and Account Management Teams on data flows, campaigns and projects
• Stay up to date on Marketing Cloud features, best practices, and email marketing compliance
• Other related duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio
• Proficiency in SQL for segmentation and query building
• Experience writing AMPscript and/or SSJS for dynamic content and personalization
• Basic HTML skills for form and landing page creation
• Expertise with customer data sets, list creation and segmentation
• Experience with campaign performance analysis and reporting
• Excellent communication skills; ability to translate business requirements into technical execution
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Strong project management skills
• Must successfully complete and clear the company's comprehensive background screening process as a condition of employment

Preferred

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Developer and/or Administrator certifications
• CloudPages experience in building forms and landing pages
• HTML, CSS, and responsive email template development skills
• Familiarity with data integration via API or Marketing Cloud Connect
• Experience with setting up SMS campaigns via Mobile Studio
