Job summary

GTX Solutions, a CourtAvenue Company, seeks an Implementation Engineer to configure Salesforce Marketing Cloud and customer data platforms across client engagements. You will translate designs into tested configurations and collaborate with solution architects and analytics engineers.

Responsibilities include building journeys, writing SQL/AMPscript, configuring CDP ingestion, and integrating via REST/SOAP APIs. The role is remote-first with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in marketing technology implementation including Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Hands-on experience building and troubleshooting Marketing Cloud journeys, automations, and audiences.
• Strong SQL and AMPscript skills for segmentation and personalization; working JavaScript for scripting.
• Experience configuring at least one enterprise CDP including identity resolution and activation.
• Experience linking CDP/audience data to Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Experience with REST APIs, authentication, JSON payloads and data integrations.
• Understanding analytics events, data layers and tagging impact on profiles.
• Experience implementing consent, preferences and suppression rules.
• Ability to work with client stakeholders and document configurations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud journeys and automations using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder and data extensions.
• Write SQL, AMPscript and platform scripts for audience preparation, personalization, suppression and recurring campaign processes.
• Implement journey entry, exit, re-entry, eligibility, prioritization and frequency rules.
• Configure CDP ingestion, attributes, identity rules, segments and activation into Marketing Cloud and other destinations.
• Build and troubleshoot integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, Marketing Cloud Connect, connectors and scheduled file transfers.
• Validate subscriber and contact identifiers, field mappings, audience counts, consent and suppression across connected platforms.
• Support reliable email and SMS execution and integrations with direct mail providers.
• Investigate failed automations, incomplete imports, incorrect personalization, audience discrepancies and journey execution issues.
• Partner with analytics and tagging engineers to validate how behavioral events update customer profiles, qualify audiences and trigger communications.
• Work directly with client marketing, CRM and data teams to clarify requirements, explain issues and guide implementation.
• Document configurations, dependencies, QA results, deployment procedures and operational runbooks.
