$85.00/hr - $90.00/hr

Responsibilities:
  • Define the overall architecture and roadmap for Salesforce Health Cloud, aligning with enterprise strategies and business needs.
  • Own the end-to-end technical architecture and solution design of Salesforce Health Cloud implementations.
  • Translate complex healthcare workflows into scalable Salesforce Health Cloud solutions.
  • Design data models, integration patterns, security frameworks, and system components supporting patient engagement, care management, and provider collaboration.
  • Lead architectural decisions on custom vs. out-of-the-box Health Cloud features (e.g., care plans, assessments, SDOH, provider relationships).
  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, developers, and clinical stakeholders to ensure solution alignment.
  • Architect and oversee integrations with EHR/EMR platforms using HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare standards.
  • Ensure HIPAA-compliant architecture and manage risks related to data privacy and security.
  • Provide governance on best practices for development, deployment, scalability, and reuse across Salesforce orgs.
  • Guide technical teams through code and design reviews, and provide mentorship on platform best practices.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and innovations, especially within Health Cloud and healthcare partner ecosystems.
  • Lead the technical implementation of key Health Cloud features such as care plans, patient timelines, assessments, tasks, and provider-patient relationship models.
  • Mentor development teams on Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, and other platform tools.
  • Architect secure and compliant solutions adhering to HIPAA, HITRUST, and data protection policies.
  • Collaborate with integration teams to connect Salesforce Health Cloud with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) using FHIR, HL7, and API integrations.
  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure technical quality and performance.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and Health Cloud innovations; recommend improvements or enhancements.
  • Support CI/CD strategies and contribute to DevOps processes using tools like Git, Copado, or Gearset.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of Salesforce experience, with 4+ years specifically in Health Cloud architecture and development.
  • Expertise in Salesforce development: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Visualforce.
  • Strong experience in healthcare data structures, care management workflows, and regulatory environments.

In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities including:

  • Person Accounts, Record Types, and Sharing Models
  • Experience with API development and integrations using REST, SOAP, HL7, and FHIR.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Salesforce Certified Application or System Architect
  • Background in Salesforce Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or MuleSoft integrations
