Job summary

Humana is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to help develop and support Salesforce Health Cloud solutions for our growing Primary Care business. You will design, build, test, and support Salesforce-based solutions with a focus on enabling sales teams to connect prospective patients with senior-focused primary care services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of software engineering or application development experience.
• 2+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Flows, Lightning Components, or OmniStudio.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud; Health Cloud experience is a plus.
• Experience working with APIs, integrations, or connected enterprise applications.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC practices.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to improve development productivity, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Salesforce Health Cloud solutions using Apex, Flows, OmniStudio, and Lightning Components.
• Configure Salesforce functionality to support business requirements and enhance user experiences.
• Build and support custom workflows, automations, and platform-based solutions.
• Assist with integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using APIs and integration platforms.
• Participate in design, testing, deployment and support of new features and enhancements.
• Follow engineering standards, coding best practices, and security requirements.
