Job summary

Synopsys is seeking a Salesforce DevOps professional to own deployment pipelines in Copado and manage Salesforce metadata with Git workflows. You will implement Apex, Lightning components, and flows to support DevOps tooling, coordinate releases, and minimize downtime across sandboxes and production environments.

You will join a Salesforce platform and DevOps team that values clean processes, proactive communication, and scalable release patterns as the org continues to grow.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Salesforce development or Salesforce platform administration.
• Hands-on experience with Copado for deployment and release management, including User Stories and promotion pipelines.
• Comfort with Git-based workflows including branching, merging, resolving conflicts, and managing metadata in version control.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce concepts including Apex, Lightning components, flows, and object configuration.
• Understanding of Salesforce release management fundamentals including sandboxes and environment strategy.
• Basic scripting or automation skills such as shell scripting are a plus.
• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I, or Copado certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain Salesforce deployment pipelines in Copado, including User Stories and promotion paths.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce customizations using Apex, Lightning components, flows, and configuration to support DevOps tooling.
• Manage Git-based version control workflows for Salesforce metadata, including branching, merging, and promotions across environments.
• Coordinate and execute Salesforce deployments, planning releases and sequencing dependencies to minimize downtime.
• Monitor deployment pipelines and troubleshoot Copado errors, validation failures, and metadata conflicts.
• Maintain sandbox environments with refresh scheduling, seeding, and data/configuration alignment.
• Document release processes, deployment runbooks, and Copado standards for consistency as the team grows.
