Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking a Salesforce DevOps engineer to own deployment pipelines, automate releases, and maintain Salesforce configurations. You will work with Copado, Apex, and Lightning to support DevOps tooling and internal platform needs.

You will coordinate deployments with developers and admins, manage Git-based workflows for metadata, and ensure smooth promotions across sandboxes to production. This role emphasizes automation, reliability, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Salesforce development or Salesforce platform administration.
• Hands-on experience with Copado for deployment and release management.
• Comfort with Git-based workflows including branching, merging, resolving conflicts, and managing metadata in version control.
• Working knowledge of core Salesforce concepts including Apex, Lightning components, flows, and object configuration.
• Understanding of Salesforce release management fundamentals including sandboxes, change sets or metadata API, and environment strategy.
• Basic scripting or automation skills such as shell scripting that help streamline deployment tasks is a plus.
• Salesforce certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain Salesforce deployment pipelines in Copado.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce customizations using Apex, Lightning components, flows, and configuration.
• Manage Git-based version control workflows for Salesforce metadata across environments.
• Coordinate and execute Salesforce deployments with developers and admins to plan releases and minimize downtime.
• Monitor deployment pipelines and troubleshoot Copado job errors and metadata conflicts to keep releases on track.
• Maintain sandbox environments with refresh scheduling, seeding, and configuration alignment across orgs.
• Document release processes, deployment runbooks, and Copado standards for consistency as the team grows.
