The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining custom Salesforce solutions, including Apex code, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce-side integration components. The Salesforce Developer must also be prepared to assume Salesforce Administrator responsibilities during the Administrator's scheduled or unscheduled absences (including military reserve training, extended leave, or other planned coverage periods) to ensure continuity of platform operations, user support, and business-critical processes. The position reports to the Director of Data Management and works in close partnership with Salesforce Administrators, Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, and business stakeholders. Declarative configuration, platform governance, and day-to-day administration remain the responsibility of the Salesforce Administrator; this role provides custom development and technical implementation support aligned with established architecture and governance standards.

  • Experience with Salesforce DX (SFDX) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Copado, Gearset, or native tooling).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Experience providing technical guidance, coverage, and/or supervision for junior developers or administrators.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience working with or developing for Salesforce managed packages used in advancement, particularly Kindsight Ascend.
