Description
ICF’s Digital Modernization division is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, technology department seeking a Salesforce Developer to support requirements for our federal customers. This role involves supporting an exciting federal project, with the position being remote contingent on contract award.
Our division provides integrated IT and management consulting solutions to public and private-sector clients, with expertise in designing, building, and operating high-performance IT systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform based on business needs and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to develop applications and research integration issues.
- Review and update Salesforce license recommendations, understanding license models.
- Create designs for implementing business functionalities such as document generation, external data management, and business rules validation.
- Advise UI/UX designers on best practices for implementing requirements.
- Mentor new Salesforce developers through knowledge transfer and collaboration.
- Recommend and implement improvements and new functionalities, providing support for break/fix issues.
- Communicate with technical resources and stakeholders regarding project status and issues.
- Perform Salesforce administration tasks and development, including account management and report/dashboard updates.
- Support hosted applications with log and performance monitoring, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Develop administrative Salesforce tools, troubleshoot platform issues, and respond to incident tickets.
- Document operational procedures and monitor Salesforce usage for compliance and security.
Required Skills
- Reside in the United States and be a US citizen (federal requirement).
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- At least 5 years of Salesforce software development and implementation experience, preferably in government consulting.
- Minimum 3 years leading development teams of 5 or more members.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce data structures and configuration tasks.
- Experience with database software and PaaS solutions.
- Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Github, Bamboo/Jenkins.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and full software development lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and Salesforce Administrator certification.
Desired Skills
- Salesforce Platform Developer I, Advanced Developer, or similar certifications.
- Experience with tools like ELK Stack, Copado, Provar, and others.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with federal clients is highly desirable.

Pay Range: $98,124 - $166,810 annually, based on experience and location.
