Job summary

American business solutions inc is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer for contract engagements in Columbus, OH. You will create and maintain Salesforce configurations, develop Apex and Lightning components, and extend Salesforce with Visualforce.

You’ll translate requirements into scalable solutions and lead DevOps/release activities while guiding junior developers. Responsibilities include designing platform roadmaps, performing security reviews, and providing production support.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher required.
• Extensive Salesforce development experience with Flow, Apex and Lightning.
• Experience in public sector solutions and DevOps/release management.

Responsibilities

• Create & maintain Salesforce configuration changes, including Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings
• Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce
• Application development including Visualforce pages, Lightning pages, and LWC
• Identify and gather requirements, translate into scalable solutions with strong UX
• Create a platform roadmap and define priorities with stakeholders
• Provide proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews and Health Check
• Lead DevOps/release management activities
• Assist with requirements gathering, design and development
• Create test cases or scripts for unit testing
• Perform production support for IT systems
• Lead discussions on technical topics and guide junior developers

Description:

• Create & maintain Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings
• Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce to support applications.
• Application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components,ec
• Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
• Identify unused or underutilized platform features
• Create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders
• Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
• DevOps/release management experience
• Assisting with requirements gathering, design and development
• Creating test cases or test scripts for unit testing
• Performing production support for IT systems
• Leading focused discussions on technical topics
• Leading & guiding junior developers
• Reading/Creating technical system documents
• Communicating and collaborating within different sections of IT and business area
