Job summary

American business solutions inc is seeking a Salesforce Developer (local to Ohio) for contract engagement in Columbus, OH. You will create and maintain Salesforce configurations, develop Apex, Lightning components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce for business applications.

You will gather requirements, define scalable solutions, and oversee platform health, security reviews, and release management. Leadership of junior developers is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of programming experience with Salesforce platform.
• 4-year degree required.
• Experience with Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings.
• DevOps/release management experience.
• Salesforce Admin experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Create & maintain Salesforce configuration changes (Flow, fields, layouts).
• Develop Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce.
• Build applications with Visualforce pages/Lightning pages and Lightning Web Components.
• Gather requirements and translate into scalable solutions with good UX.
• Identify unused platform features and define a platform roadmap.
• Perform security reviews, health checks, and release updates.
• Lead junior developers and provide guidance.
• Produce test cases and perform production support.

• Create & maintain Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings
• Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce to support applications.
• Application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components,ec
• Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
• Identify unused or underutilized platform features
• Create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders
• Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
• DevOps/release management experience
• Assisting with requirements gathering, design and development
• Creating test cases or test scripts for unit testing
• Performing production support for IT systems
• Leading focused discussions on technical topics
• Leading & guiding junior developers
• Reading/Creating technical system documents
• Communicating and collaborating within different sections of IT and business area
