Job description

Client is seeking a Salesforce Technical Lead / Developer with extensive hands-on experience in Salesforce development, particularly in Lightning Web Components (LWC) and OmniStudio. The role involves leading development efforts, designing scalable solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality Salesforce implementations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience working with stakeholders in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Salesforce development and implementation activities across projects.
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions using LWC, Apex, OmniStudio, Visualforce, and Lightning frameworks.
  • Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure effective knowledge transfer and project execution.
  • Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, and other web service protocols.
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, including governor limits and coding standards.
  • Perform unit testing, create test classes, and ensure quality through positive and negative test scenarios.
  • Manage deployments using tools such as Change Sets, Eclipse, or ANT and resolve deployment issues.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce including workflows, validation rules, approval processes, reports, and dashboards.
  • Support troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement of Salesforce applications.
Required Qualifications
  • 9+ years of overall IT experience with 9+ years in Salesforce development, implementation, administration, and configuration.
  • Strong hands‑on experience in LWC, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and OmniStudio.
  • Experience working on multiple projects involving OmniStudio or significant hands‑on experience in OmniStudio.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce integrations, including REST, SOAP, WSDL, and API‑based architectures.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits, coding best practices, and system limitations.
  • Experience with Salesforce data tools such as Data Loader or ETL tools.
  • Knowledge of database concepts including SQL, PL/SQL, schemas, and stored procedures.
  • Experience with deployment tools and processes in Salesforce environments.
  • Understanding of Salesforce administration activities including user setup, roles, profiles, and security configuration.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Java or .NET technologies.
  • Experience in healthcare payer domain.
  • Experience with Bulk API, Metadata API, and advanced integration patterns.
Certifications
  • Required: Salesforce Platform Developer I and App Builder certifications.
  • Preferred: Salesforce Platform Developer II (or equivalent advanced developer certification).
  • Good to have: Advanced Administrator or Sales/Service Cloud Consultant certifications.
