Job summary

Salesforce Developer (Local to Ohio) is needed to design, develop and maintain Salesforce configurations and customizations. You will implement Flow, Apex, Lightning Components and Visualforce to support critical applications, while translating user needs into scalable solutions and guiding junior developers.

Responsibilities include DevOps/release management, security reviews, and proactive maintenance. Local Columbus, OH area preferred with on-site work commitments.

Qualifications

• Create & maintain Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings
• Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce to support applications.
• Application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components, etc.
• Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
• Identify unused or underutilized platform features
• Create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders
• Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
• DevOps/release management experience
• Assisting with requirements gathering, design and development
• Creating test cases or test scripts for unit testing
• Performing production support for IT systems
• Leading focused discussions on technical topics
• Leading & guiding junior developers
• Reading/Creating technical system documents
• Communicating and collaborating within different sections of IT and business area

Responsibilities

• Create Salesforce configurations and customizations using Flow and Apex
• Develop Lightning Components and Visualforce to extend Salesforce
• Build and maintain Salesforce apps with Visualforce and LWC
• Gather requirements and translate into scalable Salesforce solutions
• Lead junior developers and guide technical discussions
• Coordinate DevOps and release management activities
• Perform security reviews and health checks on Salesforce orgs
