Job summary

The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join the Application Development Team. You will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

  • 60 mos. combined work experience in software development and related areas.
  • Associate core program in computer science or information systems with 42 mos. combined work experience, including 12 mos. in the primary technology as listed by the position description.
  • Undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems with 36 mos. combined work experience, including 12 mos. in the primary technology as listed by the position description.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and LWC.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ensure architecture, design patterns, coding standards, and processes are followed.
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback for maintainable code.
  • Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Lead and support all phases of the software development lifecycle including testing and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including specifications and user guides.
  • Stay current with Salesforce updates and proactively suggest improvements.
  • Collaborate with admins, analysts, and other developers for seamless integration.
