Job summary

Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to join our onshore team. Lead development on Apex, Visualforce, and the Salesforce platform; design, develop, and implement innovative solutions that meet client requirements while guiding both onshore and offshore developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven Salesforce Developer with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Web Applications and Web Services development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with programming languages such as C#.NET, PHP, Java, or Objective C for mobile development.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies like Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Expertise in XML Web services, JSON, and modern integration technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate customer needs into practical technical solutions.
• Proven leadership skills, with experience mentoring development teams and managing technical projects.
• Strong communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and customization of Salesforce applications, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and integrations.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and deploy new Salesforce modules and features in alignment with project specifications.
• Mentor and manage both onshore and offshore development team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and architecture services to clients, assisting in solution design and system integration.
• Manage multiple technical projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope and budget.
• Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities such as lunch and learn sessions to enhance team skills.
• Work closely with sales teams to develop technical proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations.
• Make informed technical and architectural decisions, creating detailed design documents for developers and QA engineers.
• Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and industry trends to continuously improve solutions and processes.
