What You Will Do

Ascension is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Solution Architect with a strong focus on Salesforce Data Cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the architectural strategy for our Salesforce Data Cloud initiatives. You will provide program-level support for different program teams, ensuring the successful implementation and utilization of Salesforce Data Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.

As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you will collaborate closely with business and program stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient high-level solutions. Your expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud will be vital in designing robust, high-performing, and scalable solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Define the architectural strategy for Salesforce Data Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into high-level technical specifications and solution designs.
• Provide expertise and guidance on Salesforce Data Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities, features, and best practices to drive innovation and optimize solution implementation.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of appropriate Salesforce Data Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud components and integrations to meet business needs.
• Design and architect end-to-end solutions that leverage Salesforce Data Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, considering scalability, performance, security, cost and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow between Salesforce Data Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other systems (Salesforce Ecosystem and beyond).
• Provide technical guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Define and implement data governance practices and data management strategies to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and system integration challenges related to Salesforce Data Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Provide guidance and support to program teams during solution implementation, including troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance optimization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce Data Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud trends, features, and enhancements, and assess their potential impact on the organization's architecture and solutions.

Complexity of Work:

• The role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
• Collaboration with multiple cross-functional team members and stakeholders, which requires excellent communication skills.
• Collaboration with delivery management organization to meet project timelines while balancing multiple competing priorities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years implementing Salesforce.com based solutions
• 3+ years designing Salesforce.com based solutions in an enterprise environment
• 2+ years experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud in an architecture capacity

Work Experience:

• 5 years of experience required.
• 10 years of experience is preferred.
• 2 year of leadership or management experience preferred
• 1-2 years of experience with Apex and/or Lightning Web Components preferred
• 2 years of experience integrating Salesforce.com Core and Marketing Cloud preferred
• Salesforce certifications, such as Data Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist preferred.

• High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experiencerequired, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor'sdegree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those yearsbeing in leadership/management.
