Job summary

Agile Resources, Inc. seeks an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to act as the strategic liaison between business stakeholders and the Salesforce delivery team for a healthcare client.

You will translate business needs into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications while collaborating with Product Owners, developers, and cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes Agile/Scrum delivery, backlog management in Jira, and ongoing optimization of Salesforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or closely related role.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce (REQUIRED).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce standard and custom objects, Flows, validation rules, and security controls (REQUIRED).
• Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and translating business requirements.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience creating process flows and diagrams using Visio or Lucidchart is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners,Product Owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate high-level business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Manage and maintain the product backlog in Jira.
• Ensure requirements, work notes, dependencies, and blockers are documented and addressed.
• Partner with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered.
• Analyze current-state business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and automate processes using the Salesforce platform.
• Evaluate solutions with Salesforce Developers and Architects to meet requirements and align with best practices.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
• Document and track defects, issues, and resolutions.
• Troubleshoot systemic issues and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Develop technical presentations, release notes, and communications for leadership.
