Job Description
Seeking a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Consultant with expertise in E-commerce, Digital Experience Platforms, Content Management Systems, Marketing, and Automation. The ideal candidate will have experience in consulting projects across various domains, with a mandatory background in implementing SFCC-based B2B commerce solutions (preferably B2B Lightning). Discovery and blueprinting experience is also required.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct business diagnostics to establish industry-leading E-commerce solutions, technology, processes, procedures, and training.
- Create strategic and tactical recommendations for clients to modify and enhance current commerce operations, procedures, and systems.
- Develop strategies to improve customer experience, increase revenue, and reduce operational costs through customer enablement and multi-channel integration.
- Demonstrate understanding of multiple domains and analyze client business needs to identify problems and propose solutions.
- Gather business requirements via interactions, research, and industry-standard analysis techniques; act as a liaison between business units and technical teams.
- Define and scope business areas, elicit requirements through workshops, analyze and document requirements, and communicate them via artifacts like BRDs, user stories, wireframes, etc.
- Collaborate with solution architecture and product engineering teams to conceptualize solutions.
- Review test scenarios, perform functional testing, and validate solutions meet requirements.
- Prepare training materials and conduct end-user training sessions.
- Organize customer demos and user acceptance testing.
- Participate in post-live activities and oversee project communications and updates.
Experience & Skills
- Experience consulting with Fortune 500 companies across industries.
- MBA from Tier 1 B-Schools is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce concepts.
- 5+ years in implementing and managing Salesforce commerce solutions as a functional consultant.
- 3+ years of end-to-end SDLC experience on at least 2 B2B Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementations, preferably B2B Lightning.
- Basic knowledge of out-of-the-box SFCC configurations.
- Experience with Adobe and Sitecore is preferable.
- Proven experience leading solution design and implementation of content management and e-commerce systems.
- Strong understanding of web application architectures and enterprise mobile architectures.
- Experience leading agile teams and managing requirements, documentation, and end-user training.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools, including backlog management.
- Ability to develop business cases, ROI matrices, and roadmaps.
- Capability to handle multiple regions, vendor situations, and global teams under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective in remote environments.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and contribute to thought leadership through publications and forums.
