Job summary

Meta seeks an Application Engineer, Salesforce to own and deliver enterprise-grade applications on the Salesforce platform. You will partner with product managers to shape strategy, build custom Salesforce apps, and integrate with internal software layers while ensuring security, reliability, and performance.

The role emphasizes API usage, UI components (Visualforce/LWC/Apex) and modern JS frameworks, with opportunities to leverage AI-driven process improvements and production-grade tooling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing business applications in Salesforce, PHP, Java, C++, Python, or similar.
• 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Web Services APIs (SOAP/REST/Bulk/Metadata).
• 3+ years of experience in Visualforce/Lightning Web Components/Apex with JS frameworks like React, Bootstrap or Angular.

Responsibilities

• Technical ownership of projects and managing resources.
• Work with product managers to drive strategic value through custom applications built on Salesforce and our internal stack.
• Architect highly available, scalable, and secure systems.
• Comply with change management policies to ensure data integrity and system stability.
• Define and track performance metrics to measure business value and inform technical decisions.
• Build interfaces for complex systems and high-quality tools.
