We recently added another “best” to our toolbelt when we were awarded the 2025 Best Place to Work in the Cloud. The Cloud Awards is one of the longest-running awards platforms of its kind and recognizes the latest achievements and innovations in cloud computing.

We’re committed to fostering a positive work environment that is backed up by competitive benefits (see below) and a culture of collaboration. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and driven Helpdesk Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

WealthCounsel is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join our IT department to support the day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and improvement of our Salesforce Enterprise Edition. This position is responsible for the overall configuration and operation of the existing implementation and continued operations, as well as the continuous improvement of the Salesforce tools for all user groups. The administrator will perform configuration, testing, implementation, documentation, and updating tasks relating to the Salesforce system. A team player with a collaboration-oriented mindset is essential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support new and existing user base with questions and issues.
  • Handle configuration, setup, and support of Salesforce Enterprise Edition (Lightning): security model, permission sets, flows, validation rules, page layouts, and object architecture
  • Follow established governance and best practices for platform adoption and the full change lifecycle — design, change control, UAT, deployment, and support
  • Partner with business stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and translate business processes into scalable technical solutions
  • Design and document technical solutions aligned to business objectives; review functional designs for soundness before implementation
  • Develop and maintain training materials and training curriculum.
  • Manage and troubleshoot integrations across our ecosystem: Okta, DocuSign, Nintex DocGen, Swoogo, Zuora, HubSpot, and Slack
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, and AppExchange solutions, and recommend adoption where it benefits the business
  • Support and evolve case management processes and internal SOPs governing Salesforce use
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for resolving advanced system challenges and troubleshooting intricate technical issues
  • Lead or contribute to major platform initiatives (e.g., automation of support workflows, case routing/swarming)
  • Document configuration changes and decisions per WealthCounsel's internal documentation standards
  • Perform related duties as required or assigned.
Essential Required Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including Enterprise Edition / Lightning
  • Deep working knowledge of flows, validation rules, permission sets, role hierarchies, and data model design
  • Experience managing or troubleshooting third-party integrations (identity management, e-signature, document generation, or billing platforms a plus)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication — this role requires heavy stakeholder interaction and requirements gathering across departments
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and take initiative on ambiguous or complex problems
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator II
  • Self-motivated and independent team player who takes initiative and thrives with minimal day-to-day oversight
Nice to Have:
  • Basic Apex or Lightning Web Components familiarity (occasional light customization — this is not a development-heavy role)
  • Advanced Salesforce certifications (Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist, Salesforce Certified Business Analyst)
  • Experience with DocuSign, Nintex DocGen, Zuora, or HubSpot specifically
