Job description

The Salesforce Administrator will manage, optimize, and support the Salesforce platform. This role ensures the CRM ecosystem effectively supports customer engagement, marketing, and business operations. The administrator will work closely with the operations and technical teams to translate operational processes into scalable Salesforce solutions while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards.

The Salesforce Administrator will act as the “Salesforce product expert” and advise operational, clinical, and technical leadership through decisions about the use of additional Salesforce solutions (primarily Salesforce Health Cloud and healthcare workflow functionality). The potential use of Salesforce Health Cloud would support patient engagement, care management and clinical workflows while empowering the clinical teams to optimize healthcare processes.

Job Duties
  • Administer, configure, and maintain Salesforce, including Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing integrations and any future Salesforce products such as Health Cloud.
  • Customize platform using Flows, Process Builder, validation rules, approval processes, and declarative automation.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and analytics to support clinical, technical, operational, and executive decision-making.
  • Integrate Salesforce with existing billing systems and third-party health apps, EMR and other systems, telehealth platforms, etc. when applicable.
  • Support user onboarding, training, documentation, and adoption initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and serve as the primary Salesforce support resource.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define system enhancements and execute roadmap improvements.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance, security controls, and data protection best practices.
  • Manage release updates, app installations, and change management.
  • Collaborate with product managers and technical teams when custom development is required.
Required Experience
  • 7+ years Salesforce Administration experience
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud
  • Experience working in healthcare, medical services, telehealth, med spa, wellness, clinical, or regulated health environments.
  • Strong knowledge of patient lifecycle workflows (intake, engagement, care coordination, follow-up).
  • Experience with Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Permissions).
  • Understanding of healthcare data structures (patient records, PHI, claims, EHR data, care plans).
  • Experience with reporting, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Experience integrating proprietary or custom software platforms preferred.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator required; Health Cloud certification strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and operational teams.
  • Ability to translate business/clinical needs into system functionality.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical data management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment.
