Job summary

Convoy of Hope is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to configure and optimize our Salesforce platform and related apps. You will manage the product roadmap, design scalable solutions, and support fundraising data workflows to improve impact.

The role emphasizes analytical data management, reporting, and end-user training, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and customer service in a faith-based environment.

Qualifications

  • Three years’ Salesforce Administrator experience or two years as a consultant.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS diploma or equivalent required.
  • Multiple Salesforce Certifications preferred (System Administrator, Sales Cloud or Non-Profit Cloud).
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification also preferred.
  • Strong analytical and data-management skills; experience with data modeling and migration tools.

Responsibilities

  • Configure Salesforce and related applications, including flows, layouts, reports, dashboards, and security settings.
  • Oversee day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the Salesforce platform.
  • Create KPI reports and data analyses for leadership; monitor data integration and resolve issues.
  • Architect new data collection and reporting processes; ensure ROI visibility for fundraising efforts.
  • Document configurations and provide end-user training materials; support data health.

Ministry Function

The Salesforce Administrator supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope by configuring, supporting, maintaining, and continually improving Salesforce and installed applications. Continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback, designing scalable best-practice solutions, managing the product roadmap, and identifying areas of improvement. The Salesforce Administrator must have a good understanding of the Salesforce platform, can understand both our current setup and our business objectives, with a special focus on how to increase the effectiveness of the various fundraising efforts at Convoy of Hope.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports.
  • Oversee the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our Salesforce platform.
  • Utilize strong analytical and data-management skills to create Key Performance Indicator reports for the Office of the President and other reports as assigned.
  • Monitor data integration and identify and resolve problem areas using Data Modeling and Migration tools.
  • Troubleshoot reports, build dashboards, transform numerical data into usable information to assist Convoy of Hope in making strategic business decisions.
  • Help architect new initiatives to be efficient in collecting data into CRM and reporting out of CRM or interface with other DB within the organization.
  • Provide an in-depth look at performance (ROI) of fundraising direct mail, email strategies and events.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and provide training materials for end-users and new hires.
  • Help maintain health of database by offering support and best-practice recommendations.
  • Fulfill all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Three years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator or two years as a Salesforce Administrator consultant is required.
  • A bachelor's degree (refer to specific field if for a specific team) preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Multiple Salesforce Certifications Preferred - (System Administrator, and Sales Cloud or Non-Profit Cloud Certification).
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification also preferred.
  • Strong analytical and data-management skills required.
  • Experience with Data Modeling and Migration tools.
  • Ability to successfully multitask, efficiently and accurately completing each project within time deadlines.
  • Communication skills for clear explanation of reports and data sets.
  • Strong customer service skills, interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Confident and outgoing, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.
