Job summary

JTM Food Group in Harrison, Ohio is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to serve as the internal Product Owner, partnering with sales leadership and external resources to manage the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), and the Ross ERP integration.

You will own day-to-day administration, maintain data quality, security, and adoption, and translate business needs into workable Salesforce solutions while collaborating across Sales, Marketing,

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience, including Sales Cloud configuration.
  • Experience acting as Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role on Salesforce implementation.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) lead journeys and scoring.
  • Familiarity with ERP/back-office integrations (ROSS or similar).
  • Strong cross-functional communication and Agile/Scrum experience.
  • Background in food, CPG, manufacturing, or distribution is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary internal Product Owner and single point of contact for consulting partners supporting Salesforce improvements.
  • Own, prioritize, and maintain the User Story Backlog with clear acceptance criteria and sprint assignments.
  • Represent business stakeholders in design workshops and sprint reviews.
  • Define continuous improvement projects from design through change management and training.
  • Administer day-to-day Salesforce configuration: users, profiles, permissions, roles, and security.
  • Maintain declarative automation (Flows, rules, approvals) for opportunities, campaigns, and workflows.
  • Own reports and dashboards for real-time visibility into pipeline, marketing ROI, and trade spend.
  • Assist with Marketing Cloud Account Engagement administration, including lead journeys and landing pages.
  • Coordinate with ERP integration teams to validate data mappings and synced records.
  • Provide front-line support to end users and assist in data migration validation.
  • Maintain audit history, data governance, and documentation as the org evolves.

SCOPE – SALESFORCE ADMINISTRATOR

The Salesforce Administrator position serves as internal Product Owner delivered in partnership with sales leadership and external resources. The position has responsibility for the Salesforce eco-system from Sales Cloud, ), Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, and a back-office integration with JTM's Ross ERP system.

The position will be the primary business-side owner of this platform and will own day-to-day administration of the organization by keeping it clean, secure, and adopted after the project is completed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – SALESFORCE ADMINISTRATOR
  • Act as the primary internal Product Owner and single point of contact for the consulting partners implementation team resources supporting the continuous improvement of Salesforce to support strategy.
  • Own, prioritize, and maintain the User Story Backlog, ensuring each story has clear acceptance criteria, priority, and sprint assignment.
  • Represent the needs of business stakeholders in design workshops and sprint reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal resources and external partners to define the continuous improvement projects from design through change management helping develop training plans, communications, and adoption support models for end users.
  • Administer day-to-day Salesforce configuration: users, profiles, permission sets, roles, and the security model established during the implementation.
  • Maintain and extend declarative automation (Flows, validation rules, approval processes) supporting the delivery of sales opportunity, marketing delivery, trade, promotion, project management and other necessary workflows to support our sales strategies.
  • Own reports, dashboards, and data quality across Sales Cloud, ensuring leadership has accurate real-time visibility into pipeline, marketing, sample ROI, and trade spend.
  • Assist with administration of Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), including lead assignment rules, Engagement Studio journeys, and landing pages/forms.
  • Serve as the business-side liaison on the ROSS ERP integration, helping validate field mappings, data flows, and the accuracy of synced records.
  • Provide front-line troubleshooting and support to end users, escalating to then consulting partner when needed.
  • Support the retirement of the legacy Pivotal org, including validation of migrated data.
  • Maintain field-level audit history, data governance standards, and documentation as the org evolves.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS – SALESFORCE ADMINISTRATOR
  • 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience, including Sales Cloud configuration (Opportunities, Accounts, security model, automation).
  • Experience acting as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar business-facing role on Salesforce implementation, ideally alongside an external consulting/SI partner.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) lead journeys, Engagement Studio, and lead scoring/assignment — strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP or back-office integrations (ROSS or a comparable ERP system) is a plus.
  • Intermediate development skills are a plus, including familiarity with Salesforce customization, basic scripting, APIs, integrations, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Experience in food, CPG, manufacturing, or distribution environments is a plus.
  • Comfortable managing a prioritized backlog and working within Agile/Scrum ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, UAT).
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills — able to translate between Sales, Marketing, R&D, Trade, Sampling, Accounting, and technical teams.
  • Project management experience with the ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives, manage timelines, track deliverables, communicate risks, and drive projects from planning through successful adoption.
